MassCEC works to increase the adoption of clean energy while driving down costs and delivering financial, environmental, and economic development benefits to energy users and utility customers across the state. For more than a decade, MassCEC advanced the responsible development of offshore wind working with industry and other partners to reduce project risk, increase market confidence, and maximize the associated climate, workforce, and economic benefits of this new industry. In addition to its interests in the Salem Offshore Wind Terminal, MassCEC also owns and operate two other facilities that support the offshore wind industry: the Wind Technology Testing Center and the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal.
